I've dealt with tendonitis in my Achilles tendon for over a year. Prior treatments included a lift in my shoe, a couple rounds of physical therapy, dry needling, and finally surgical debridement. I'm a positive, "can-do", and determined person, but this was giving me doubt. This impediment has been a challenge for me to the point of wondering if I would ever get back to the mobility I considered normal.
I decided to try your fitness center and was directed to Dustin Smith. His help has caused a remarkable turn-around for me. I could rationalize that it's my imagination, but Dustin's help seems to be getting me back to normal. His routine includes exercises that I can easily do at home and some that can be only performed at the fitness center(Tim Dorsey Fitness). He's focused and knowledgeable. Flexibility in my ankle has improved an the pain has decreased significantly. Last week I walked a mile; even jogged a few steps. I haven't been able to do that in a long time.

I started receiving personal training from Dustin in June of 2019. I wanted my body to get more tone for a musical I was involved with. I contacted Dustin and he reached out to me right away to start our sessions. I like that Dustin is always tailoring my training sessions to my needs and wants. Every session he has a plan in place for me but he always sets time aside to work on what I feel is important. He is patient and motivating during my workout sessions. Also, I do not have very good knees and Dustin has the skill set to modify excises so I am never in discomfort. I have had great results since working with Dustin. My body is more tone and I feel more comfortable in my clothing. I had a wellness check this fall and my body fat index was below the expected range for my height and weight. I appreciate Dustin’s expertise and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a personal trainer. My husband has now started working with Dustin as well!

I have really enjoyed working with Dustin! He is so knowledgeable about everything from weightlifting to helping with all injuries especially back pain! He has truly gone above and beyond and has helped me with positioning, proper form and what weight position helps with building different muscles!!

I first started training with Dustin when he began coaching a strongman training class at the gym I was attending. I decided to try it out for something different then the everyday gym routine. The first class was like wait you want me to lift what, but Dustin's can do attitude and the way he motivates had me lifting more than I ever thought I could and quickly showed me that I had much more potential than I thought.
One thing I really like about Dustin's coaching is his attention to detail making sure I was the poster for lifting form before letting me move on from a lift making sure I wouldn't hurt myself. With the training from Dustin my lifts quickly raised as did my confidence leading me to try my hand at my first strongman competition an experience I will never forget and Dustin was with me every step of the way coaching me through every stage of the competition keeping me motivated.

I am Dustin's brother, so I got to witness firsthand his dedication to strength and conditioning from an early age. He was always researching nutrition and different exercises along with trying out many different workout routines. Once I got older and more into sports, I would always turn to Dustin for strength, conditioning, and nutrition advice. After my freshman year (college) of baseball I turned to Dustin that summer and asked him to help me get bigger and stronger. I left Bowling Green after the spring semester a tall, lanky 180 pound freshman, and returned the next year at 200 pounds and stronger than ever.
He also gave me advice on shoulder and elbow exercises, and that season I threw harder and pitched more innings than I ever had in my career. I also did not experience any arm troubles that year. From that year forward, I continued to ask Dustin for strength and nutrition advice and that is a big part of why I was able to have such a long baseball career.
In college and professionally, a lot of the lifting routines were cookie cutter and the whole team did the same workouts. That is why I would always turn to Dustin, because he would ask what my goals were and take into account strengths and weaknesses and then customize a plan for me.
As I got older, I began going through phases of wanting to put on muscle and then phases of leaning out and burning off fat, and I turned to Dustin for nutrition advice also. He helped me bulk up before the baseball season, and also gave me adjustments to make in my diet after the season to burn off some unwanted fat that was starting to accumulate.
The final thing I took from Dustin was his goal oriented mindset. I watched him through the years go after his athletic, powerlifting, and strongman goals with everything he has and it rubbed off on me as an athlete to try to give that same dedication. He also applies that same dedication when helping me or other family or friends who asked him for advice. He is always super helpful and wants others to reach their goals as much as he wants to reach his own goals.
Now that I am more into exercise and nutrition, I talk to him about it a lot more than I used to and I am always amazed at just how much he knows about each topic.
